Alex Sherman

Mr. Sherman joined Golub Capital in 2022 and is a Senior Vice President on the Capital Markets team. He is responsible for broadening the Firm’s distribution network to facilitate syndication and secondary trading, as well as providing market insights to assist with underwriting and structuring of LBOs, recapitalizations and refinancings. Prior to joining Golub Capital, Mr. Sherman was a Vice President in the Loan Sales and Trading group at Societe Generale, where he focused on primary issuances and secondary trading. Prior to this position, he worked at SumRidge Partners as a Director on the Credit Sales team. Prior to that, Mr. Sherman worked on J.P. Morgan’s Leveraged Credit Sales desk, where he was responsible for the primary and secondary distribution of high yield bonds, leveraged loans and distressed credit. Mr. Sherman began his career in J.P. Morgan’s Syndicated and Leveraged Finance group. Mr. Sherman earned his BA in History from Dartmouth College.
