Gerry Keefe

Mr. Keefe joined Golub Capital in 2026 and is Co-President of the Firm. He is responsible for advancing the Firm’s growth strategy by expanding and strengthening the Firm’s capital base and strategic partnerships. He oversees capital formation, corporate development, structured credit and broadly syndicated loans — with direct involvement in investment committees, capital raising, product profitability, and corporate development priorities. Prior to joining Golub Capital, Mr. Keefe held a range of senior executive roles in Corporate and Investment Banking in Tokyo, Hong Kong, New York and London. Most recently, Mr. Keefe was the Head of Banking, Americas and Europe at HSBC where he oversaw client strategy, capital deployment and risk management across wholesale banking activity including capital markets, leveraged finance and structured finance. Prior to this position, Mr. Keefe was the Asia-Pacific Head of Corporate Banking at Citigroup, where he led bankers covering product mandates spanning acquisition financing, core lending, capital markets and structured finance. Earlier roles at Citi included responsibility for securitized products in the firm’s capital markets division. Mr. Keefe earned his BA in History and Political Science from Tulane University. He received a JD from the George Washington University Law School. He is a member of the Aspen Institute Finance Leaders Fellowship, serves on the Tulane University Undergraduate College Advisory Board and is the Chair of the Royal Albert Hall Society of the Americas.
