Daniel Derman

Mr. Derman joined Golub Capital in 2019 and is a Managing Director on the Capital Markets team. He is responsible for broadening the Firm’s distribution network to facilitate syndication and secondary trading, as well as providing market insights to assist with underwriting and structuring of LBOs, recapitalizations and refinancings. Prior to joining Golub Capital, Mr. Derman held senior trading, investing and capital markets positions at Imperial Capital LLC, Aristeia Capital LLC and Silver Point Capital LP. Prior to this, he worked at Bear Stearns & Company and GE Capital, where he served as a senior capital markets professional focused on below investment grade credit and junior capital. Mr. Derman earned his BA in Economics from Colgate University. He received an MBA in Finance & Accounting from the NYU Stern School of Business.
